Dr. Seyoung Jeong is a pianist, soprano, and conductor. She is a member of the Voice faculty as a vocal coach at Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. Outside of the school, she is a performing member for the Friday Morning Music Club and the music director at Virginia Presbyterian Church in Alexandria, VA.
Previously, Dr. Jeong was an assistant professor at Northern Virginia Community College, an opera coach at George Mason University, a faculty member in the Community Arts Program at WVU, and a coach/accompanist at Bel Cantanti/Catholic University joint Summer Opera Festival.
She served as a staff accompanist for Duquesne University, Summer Missouri Chamber Orchestra, WVU Opera Theatre, Ewha Music Festival, and the Accademia Musicale Pescarese Summer Voice Program in Pescara, Italy.
She earned her Master of Music degree in voice performance and literature from Eastman School of Music. Before attending Eastman, she completed a Doctoral of Musical Arts degree in piano performance from West Virginia University, a Master of Music from Duquesne University, and another MM and a BM degree from Ewha Womans University in Seoul, Korea.
